Once upon a time a sinner, a priest and a madman played a dangerous game…
She is a sinner.
He is a serial killer.
She demanded vengeance.
He demanded her.
She vowed to avenge.
He vowed to destroy.
She created a web of lies.
He wore a mask of deceit.
She wanted to escape.
He captured her instead.
There are no rules in this twisted game of theirs.
But there is a winner who claims the sinner.

Literally my very first thought after finishing this book. Madman… is truly a madman. When I first read about the first teasing sentence:
“Once upon a time a sinner, a priest and a madman played a dangerous game…”
I was thinking okay, this must be one pretty violent joke. Oh, but how wrong I was. Madman’s method is no joke and when I met with the said priest I was literally shocked and happy. Although, I have to admit it was also a little bit expected if you read between the words.
Eudard and Eachann have very strange names to say the least. And they are totally different also. I loved both of them a little bit as much as I also hated the saint. It can sound weird as hell but the only sane and relatively normal person in this f**d up town was Eudard. (I just hope I wrote the names correctly, again, because no matter how much time I check it is pretty confusing, lol. I broke my tongue several times trying to pronounce these ones.)
Cassandra had to go through a lot, to hell and back to say. I really admire her courage and strength but let us be honest here for a moment: he had no chance up against the Madman. I understand their driving forces and motivations and I admired them a little bit also. The ending… I am really curious about how Madman’s Cure will deal with all the shit going around.
V.F. Mason created a twisted, dark web again that totally captures the reader. Beware thee, who shall dip only a toe in this black pond: there is no going back. Don’t follow the light. This book is a good example that a good package can still be rotten on the inside. I loved every word of it.
About the Author:
V.F.Mason always loved reading books and had quite a few fights with her momma over the genre she liked (romance, duh!) She studied filmmaking and thought that would feed her desire for stories, but that didn’t happen. Finally, when she was tired of all those voices in her head, she sat down and wrote a book. It was a huge decision to make and she thanks her friends and family for supporting her in it. When she is not writing, she can be found with her friends doing all sorts of crazy things or reading recent romance books that were written by her favorite authors.
